Subject: Important Information Before Your Stay – Passport Registration

We’re really looking forward to welcoming you to Sol Escape Holidays in Fuerteventura 🌴☀️
Before and upon arrival, we’re required by Spanish law to collect passport details for all guests. This is a nationwide legal requirement under Royal Decree 933/2021 and is enforced by the Ministerio del Interior.
All accommodation providers in Spain — including holiday apartments like ours — must securely register guest identity details with the national system (SES Hospedajes). This is not a tourist tax or local rule, but a national public-security requirement.
For each guest aged 14 and over, we must collect:
* Full name (as shown on passport)
* Passport or ID number
* Nationality
* Date of birth
* Arrival and departure dates
🔐 What You Need To Do On Arrival
When you arrive at the apartment:
1️⃣ Log in to the Check-in Scan system using the link provided
2️⃣ Scan the barcode displayed inside the apartment
3️⃣ Follow the on-screen prompts and enter your passport details
The system is secure and sends the information directly to the official government platform as required by law. It only takes a couple of minutes to complete.
To cover the secure processing, digital submission, and administration involved, we apply a small £10 passport administration fee per booking.
We completely understand it’s a little extra admin, but it’s mandatory for all accommodation providers in Spain, and we really appreciate your cooperation in helping us stay compliant.
